Only in the second post of leaks. People are speculating that the second one was just to try to get Nintendo off his case. But everything in first leak so far has been correct and it's more likely to be correct because he said it before all this drama started when he had nothing to worry about.

I doubt they'd leave it incompatible, unless they did it on purpose to limit the flow of hacked pokemon into the games.

Think about it, which is easier, working hard on compatitiblity now (or releasing a patch in the future via eshop) or making more game remakes to put all those exclusive legendaries/starters back into circulation?

Of course, they may be making remakes anyway, so this could be a bit moot.

The only reason that happened in Gen 1 was because the first gym had an Onix with fuckhigh defense and there was a grand total of 1 non-starter Pokemon who could actually hit it's special stat.

...and Misty's Starmie was just too powerful for that point in the game to begin with.

Later gens have been more careful about not sticking you with an opponent that nothing besides your starter or an overleveled Butterfree/Nidoran could deal with.

Unless Fairy Wind's base power is below 45, I still don't think this one is the case. Even a base power of 55 (like Icy Wind) would have been a OHKO with a x4 weakness.

BP 60 (Silver Wind/Ominous Wind) and a x2 weakness seems to fit this .gif, at least according to my amateur mathematics. (0 IVs/EVs and neutral natures.)

Also I just really hope it's not SE to Dark.

Seriously? Single player pokemon is not hard. Also, they've been much better about access to pokemon that have strengths/resistances to gym leaders in earlier areas since gen 4.

None of that has technically been proven wrong. It doesn't say that Gogoat is the only rideable pokemon, but that you can't ride your own. As far as we know there are certain pokemon that are rideable in certain areas, but not all.

And the rivals isn't disproved because most of your friends aren't rivals, but friends. One is a dancer, the other a nerd, and two of them rivals.

No, that's called making a logical claim. It makes sense. All of the old information is legit while some of the new information is fake because that's when people noticed and they wanted Nintendo to get off his case. It also wasn't posted on the pipeline forums or in MageLeif's prior posts. When something from the first leak becomes false I'll start becoming skeptical. But it's still reliable overall because of all the correct information.
