I'm excited for X/Y myself, but at the same time, I seem to have trouble showing excitement.
I don't really think I'm as excited for new Pokemon generations as I used to be, but I'm not sure. I definitley remember though that when
Diamond and Pearl were about to come out though it flooded my thoughts constantly, but I was a bit younger then too.
As for when B/W came out I don't exactly remember how excited I was, but I remember since I didn't look up a lot of spoilers it was a more exciting gameplay experience for me.
Anyway in short I am excited for X/Y, and I still love getting new Pokegames as much as before, I guess I just don't get as excited about it anymore.
