>>12684144>>12684156I never stated it "doesn't help at all", simply that they're better off without it, and that their Poison typing isn't what defines them. I already stated the Fighting resistance is a plus, and honestly the Toxic Immunity is a moot point when 3/4 of those guys are most likely behind a sub.
However, you're also describing the defensive attributes of Poison, when what's being discussed is if Poison will become more useful due to its offensive advantage against Fairy; the answer to this is ultimately "no", as Steel will be more prevalent, meaning your Sludge Bomb = a free switch for your opponent.
Honestly, this all doesn't matter if the leaked resistances/weaknesses for Fairy are true and complete, a single immunity and 2 weaknesses with NO resistances is AWFUL defensively on its own. However, I'd like to believe the leak just lacked resistance details.
