The chance in Fire being bolster by the Fairy Type is low, because Psychics are already there who can tank Fairy Type attacks, neglecting that 2 of the OU Dragons are Psychic and will only take Neutral Damage from them.
Psychic is far more likely to benefit from the Fairy Resistance and increase in usage.
As long as Sneaky Stones and Drizzle exist, Fire as a type can not dominate in OU.
Either the current Fire Types will see more usage, or 1 or 2 more will enter.
