Besides I don't even own a 3DS yet.
I really want to wait for a XY bundle pack
But I'll probably cave in and buy 3DS and Monster Hunter

Monster Hunter is more that enough to get you to buy a 3DS.

With MH3U being already a superior version of Tri, MH4 is coming out next year. And that's as far as I'm aware 3DS exclusive.
