What type do you think the gym will be? I'm thinking steel or flying since you'll most likely be battling the gym leader on the roof (sky battle maybe?)

As much as I'd love a sky battle gym leader it seems like it'd be tough to pull off since what if you're the kind of person who only uses your starter and have no good flying types or levitating bros

Good point. But, I guess they could make it so the player could choose which one they do. As far as I know, Sky battles have no difference other than the Pokemon that can participate.

I dunno, GF has forced you to use gimmicks in gym battles before. Remember Lisa and Tate?
And I'm hoping Sky Battles will mean there are more decent flying types which in turn means you're more likely to have one for this gym

Yeah, but unless you're having battles on the stairwells there's not that much space.
My guess is that you're going to have to fight through two floors of gym trainers to get to lifts, with the top platform being just the leader.

Why? There are a lot of more powerful flying/levitating electric Pokemons. Also not every flying/levitating pokemon are weak to Electric (like the one you posted anon).
