Gamefreak's only excuse for making fairy super effective against dragon is because dragon only had two weaknesses. Well, what about Dark, Ghost, and Fighting? Is fairy super effective against those now too? Dragon was not OP. It was meant to be a menacing type for people like champions to have. They take a long time to train for a reason, because they were supposed to be a sign of power on your team. Now, with fairy, will all the champions have Dark, Ghost, and Fighting? Gamefreak just gave into the people who bitched about not being able to beat the champion.

Dragons were a symbol of experience and toughness. Now, they're nothing who will get taken out by wigglytuff and clefable.
