Why the hell did they make Trip such a step down from Paul? Paul was such a big character and then Trip was basically irrelevant most of the series.

They have a huge battle finale between Ash and Paul, which was the greatest battle in anime history. And then....they have a boring ass 1v1 in the Unova league for Trip.

Face it. If the writers ever gave a shit before, they sure as hell don't now. All it will be if things don't go back to DP ways is cutesy pokemon, boring battles, and shit characters.

I can't believe they turned such an iconic anime into useless shit thrown on a screen. So many childhoods will be ruined because of this.
