Being immune to dragon makes it so they can't Dragon Dance -> Outrage + Lum Berry you to death. Because Dragons are generally fast Physical Sweepers, you would need a good defensive type to stop them from wrecking everything instantly.

Also being Super Effective against Dragon is Ice's specialty, and Ice definitely doesn't need a nerf

If it's anything like Thrash switching in a Fairy only gives them one free turn against Outrage because it gets cancelled one it hits an immunity.

This. Unless the thrash/outrage/petal dance/etc mechanics get updated, you get one turn of setup on the switch, assuming the dragon doesn't have a coverage move to hit you with, and then you hope to Allah that your opponent doesn't have something to kill your fairy. I see fairies making the meta a bit less hyper offensive, but I don't see them really fucking up dragons much at all.

because having only one resistance is patently retarded for a type with such powerful pokemon in it. Fairy exists for balance. the last two types that were made for balance resisted/were immune to the overpowered psychic type.
