I'm looking to buy a used Crystal version. I am wondering whether or not should buy one with a new save battery installed or just go for a plain used copy. What has been /vp/'s experience with this? How many years do the save batteries last in the first place. Is it likely that most of these used games have save batteries that are on the verge of dying? Is a new save battery a worthy investment before I waste any time starting a new game?
