So I was starting to get sick of /vp/ and thinking you were a shitty board, since I pretty much exclusively visit /vp/ and /tg/.
I decided to take a look at /v/, I thought maybe there was some buzz about E3... I'm so sorry I doubted you guys.

TL;DR, awesome community thread.
Post your favorites, chat about gen6, trolls need not apply.
Pic related, I don't care if it has a new weakness, this line will always be one of my favorites.

This board is an absolute shithole 99% of the time.

It's fun to peruse when there's a new game around the corner and/or recently released, however. When there's stuff to discuss and speculate about and fun art to look at and learn from.

As soon as that dries up it's "Furries, the board," and "POKEMON GENERAL," and "LET'S ROLEPLAY AS IF POKEMON WERE REAL," pretty exclusively.

So I only go on /v/ if there's a good childhood storytime thread, or if there's an elderscrolls argument.
I hate this place too, but when I look at other pokemon communities especially /r/pokemon I cannot stand anything else.
I have only been here since december 2012, but this place feels like home.

/vp/ is supposed to be a part of /v/, anyone who doesn't also browse /v/ doesn't belong here. The quality of /v/ has been about the same over the years, while /vp/ went down the fucking shitter after the autumn of '10 when the complete lack of moderation led to the squatting of the board by kids and retards from other sites and boards. Fuck you secessionists.

I don't quite care for /v/; I admit it /v/ has those funny moments. And whenever new X and Y info is revealed, I come right here just to see how everybody reacts.
It's pretty fun here, and I plan to stay a long time.
