What I really don't get about the gen I stuff is that Gen II followed so closely in America. yet you almost see any posts about Gen II in the same reverence as Gen I. There's two years and a month between them in America. The Pokemon franchise was still around it's peak.

I suppose it's just because Gen II is largely forgettable.
