>>12728439Clearly. In all fairness, I'd rather have my money going to a LOT of other things then what it's currently going towards (Like infrastructure for instance). Welfare/SS is out of control, corruption in government is rampant, and the US has had a standing Army since the 70's, something that is completely unconstitutional.
BUT, the constitution also dictates we must have a kick-ass Navy at all time. Basically, the Navy is supposed to act as a deterrent for other countries, and we're only supposed to muster an Army together if we're at war. That's why I don't mind my money going towards my country's Navy. I still think we should be concentrating on out crumbling infrastructure though, but that won't happen until my government cuts a WHOLE lot of unnecessary programs. (Which they won't)
