Yeah, but have you SEEN Umbreon's defenses lately? He'd be by far the best user of the combo, and I would imagine he'd move up a tier or two as a result.

It wouldn't be game-ending, but it'd still be an effective combo.

90% of the appeal of Dragon STAB is that it's virtually unresisted.

So the Drawbacks of Outrage barely even apply once the steels are gone.

Using Spore turn one isn't that hard of a strategy.
Using protect and substitute from then on isn't hard at all either. Especially if turn 1 they don't switch or you get +accuracy or +speed.

Because shoving a dark type into the Bug and Fighting centered metagame is such a better thing.

You even lose half of your defenses upon using the move to pass.

And with Flying Gem, it would work really well with Moxie. The first hit is super powerful and wastes the Gem while providing the +1 boost, after which you don't need the Gem anymore.

Another addition I'd like to see is Sucker Punch for Krookodile, which would allow him to be perhaps the most threatening Moxie sweeper in existence - Pursuit on a weak Pokemon for a guaranteed boost, then EQ on walls + Sucker Punch on sweepers. Faster Fighting types and a few other things stop it, but not Scarfers, weather sweepers or priority, unlike in the case of Mence.

Confusion applies. Besides, Rock and Electric types are really rare in OU, and Flying is neutral on some steels which resist Dragon (Ferrothorn and Scizor for example).
