Personally, I prefer PZ to P2. While I do like the whole line, I feel that P2 was a bland evolution. PZ feels like a fresh take on the virtual pokemon and I'm happy it was created.

I don't think there's any pokémon I like only the evolved form of. The other way around, though (liking only the prevos) is pretty common for me.

Joltik is the cutest Pokemon ever. I love both him and Galvantula. Gen V has great Bug types in general, I also love Volcarona. Leavanny, Scolipede, Larvesta, Genesect, Escavalier are great and Sewaddle, Swadloon, Accelgor, Karrablast, Whirlepede are good as well. Gen V can stand its own even vs all previous Gens combined when it comes to Bug types.

Gen IV's problem is too many legends. At least it's better than the shitfest that is Gen 2. Stantler, Delibird, Ariados, Ledian, Sudowoodo etc are horrible.

The amount of legendaries is ridiculous. I want to be able to use them in the game when it's needed, during the actually game and not just an afterquest. In any game I've played by the time I catch them I have to train them, when every Mon in my party can sclack it in one hit.... nah thanks.

I don't mind at all that there are zubats fucking everywhere. Better for me, who pretty much never have to worry whether my favorite pokémon will be available in the new game or if it's going to be too hard to catch or too long before before it appears. It's Zubat, it will be there. BW was the only game so far that didn't have zubats popping up in your face in the first chance they got.

I like his general silhouette, especially compared to the pre-evolutions, but god is he overdesigned when it comes to the strikes. He's got both lines and zig zags on him and a dot on his forehead for some reason. Shit nigga, either choose straight lines/rings or lightning shaped marks like Electabuzz, but you can't do both and expect not to look like a 2edge4u 13 year old designed you.

I would've liked it more if it were blue with purple wings. It rustles my jimmies when they dramatically change the color scheme for no reason. Varying the shades is fine, since things do fade or grow darker as they age, but blue to purple's a bit much. A little bit of consistency is all I ask for.

MUH NIGGA. I never much cared for the bug types till gen 5. Hell even the token catterpillar-ish Pokemon of this region was absolutely adorable, testicles on head aside. Only ones I didn't like were Durant (looked too much like a normal ant but silver) and Escavalier (too goofy looking for my taste, plus why does a bug have a full set of armor). Other then them, I liked every bug I came across.
