ITT: Ways to get stuck permanently in a pokemon game, that would force you to restart. I find these interesting.

hey man. sorry nobody has replied to this. seems like a pretty interesting idea. I think that the only way it would work would be on an island though unless you were in an area in which you needed waterfall/strength etc to get out of either side.

In D/P/Pt (Maybe only Pt), there's an island with nothing on it except a guy who will trade you his Magikarp for a Finneon. If you teach Finneon surf to reach the island, and don't have any other surfing/flying pokemon, and if you either don't have a fishing rod or don't have any pokeballs, you'll be stuck after trading away your Finneon.

level 100 finneon, so the magikarp is level 100 and can't be leveld to evolve
another pokemon like weedle, that can't learn teleport, surf or fly.
Or just any pokemon that can't learn teleport, surf or fly and leave your fishing rods in the pc
