used to be when miltank first came out that if you bred it to tauros and the egg was male it would be a tauros or a miltank if female on my old silver . i tried it on my black 2 but all i got where miltank don`t know why gamefreak changed it .

The whole Ditto thing just is weird as hell. How do the Dittos even know how to turn into a rule 63 of whatever they're supposed to mate with?

If Dittos just copy other pokémon, they shouldn't be able to arbitrarily alter just the gender at will, or even think about doing that.

Maybe pokemon just lay eggs when they make really good friends. Maybe it's literally that similar pokemon wrestle better together and that's not a euphamism. Maybe pokemon don't actually have any sex. And ditto always wrestles the best with other pokemon because it looks just like them and they get friendly easily.

You don't get it. Since all Tauros are male, the only way you'll ever hatch a baby Tauros is to breed one with a Ditto. Which makes no fucking sense. At all. Same shit happens with the Hitmons and the Judo pokes. They need a female counterpart and they need it now.

OP is referring about breeding a Tauros. It can be done only with Tauros (always male) + Ditto.

I'm pretty sure that Ditto becomes a Milktank however. But since Ditto carries no genetic code, the result is a Tauros.

A female Tauros is a Miltank, like a cow is the female equivalent for the bull.
