Why shouldn't they be used infinitely?
The only thing this adds that if you use your Earthquake you have to restart the whole game over again.

And dont get me started on that how it makes the game harder, it just makes it more annoyng.

I think they should be one use but you get to get all TMs more than once through different means

this way you have to think about which 'mon to give the move during the run but you can get a copy of the TM in the Post-game in like the frontier or something

but even then i think people would bitch about getting the BP to buy the TMs

Nuzlocke is about making the game harder with your own rules. Just make your own rule that you can only use TMs once, or not at all. No reason to force it into the general game, especially on people who like breeding pro pokemon with special movesets.

It tends to make people never use their TMs.

Also, instead of infinite use they could just make some shop post-game where you can buy all the TMs. You still would be able them before you reach it, but just keep it there so you can still learn your pokemon moves after you used them all up.

I prefer the one use TMs. It made HMs feel much more special when you got them, and it made you think about who got what move more carefully.

I was really disappointed when the TMs became multi-use, and much more expensive. It's like...do I really want to spend this much on a move I'm only going to teach one pokemon?

You get all of the good TMs either just before or after the elite four, so it doesn't make much of a difference unless you have multiple pokemon you want to teach Bulldoze to or .

In my first playthrough of the games, I use almost no items or TMs.
I never buy repels, I only use potions I find, I grind as little as possible, and I might use 1 or 2 TMs through the whole thing.
It's still easy as hell. Reusing TMs doesnt make that much of a difference.

Why the are people even complaining about infinite use TM's? They make the game more convenient. It's better than having to restart the game entirely just to get more, and it encourages the player to try different moves on their Pokemon without wasting it forever.

No one is stopping you from using the TM once anyway. Besides that, most of the good TM's don't show until end game or post game anyway. Infinite TM's is one of the better things to happen to Pokemon.

Every single game aspect should be designed about how it will effect Pokemon competitively.

HMs shouldn't be regular moves, but hold items so they don't ruin your moves you can use outside of battles with shit attacks that you need for travel

As long as they're strategically placed on the map or obtained in particular ways so as not to break the balance, having them be reusable is perfectly fine. A lot of people disliked the fact that lots of the useful TMs in BW2 could only be obtained post-E4, but in a way, it's a good thing.
