They don't give a fuck about whether a certain gen gets a remake, because that would obviously require them to remake every gen they create, which I wouldn't imagine is something that they're too keen of wanting to do.
What I'm saying is, if remakes are going to happen, they'll probably be of Kanto solely because of how much they'll sale, and you're fucking retarded if you think GF and Nintendo would actively pander to a group that would make them a less money. A good chuck of the sales on HGSS were to older fans getting back into the series, which Hoenn has a great deal less of.
