Happy Birthday, OP. I don't mean to be genwunner or anything, but, I've stopped liking the Fire-type starters ever since Generation 3-5. It's generally only because I've never exactly liked humanoid Pokemon too much. Charizard was a flaming dragon , and Typhlosion was a....bear, wolverine, echidna, thing. I really loved these two starters because of this, because they were not humanoid and such.
Don't get me wrong, Blaziken's design was badass. But, I hated Emboar. It looked greasy and fat...like a neckbeard to me.
Point is, I generally hate humanoid Pokemon. I'm glad that in Gen 6, Fennekin is looking to me more animal than humanoid.
