>>12767252There is no universal wall. Scarmory/Blissey was a popular combo. Skarmory's defense is very good and steel has lots of resistances which further mitigate the damage done to him. However special will fry him. So you switch to blissey with its huge hp and special defense. Blissey can put out a steady stream of damage with seismic toss in spite of shit offense, and can heal itself while also using status moves like sing or toxic.
Ferrothorn can toxic and leech seed to tank while taking a percentage of the opponent's hp. High defenses with not really high hp means the amount he will get healed is decent since he shouldn't get too much damage. You can set up spikes as well, so they have to choose if they want toxic and leech to drain them as they chip away or if they will swap to counter added damage from those moves but have stealth rock or spikes damage them on switch, and giving you another person to status.
Bronzong has dual screens and good defenses, but the lack of a recovery breaks him. He can still do damage but in exchange can't last as long.
