I don't like how Ice Beam is the exact same move as Thunderbolt/Flamethrower but it gets shafted with 10 PP.

Same goes for Psychic, except it has 5 less base power than the above mentioned moves.

What bullshit is this? They all have secondary effects, so there's literally no reason for Ice Beam/Psychic to get 10PP.

Fire Blast has a 10% chance to cause burn, but somehow has 5% higher accuracy than Hydro Pump, which has no secondary effects whatsoever.

Another move related annoyances: Rock Blast

I know it got a 10% accuracy boost in Gen V, but it's still really shit compared to other moves. It's only 25 base power, and still only gets 10PP.

Rock Slide annoys me too, 75 base power, 90% accuracy - 10PP

Whereas moves like Flamethrower and Earthquake have 15/10PP respectively.

I think since most Water types can learn Ice moves, they should give Fire a boost by giving them certain Electric and Grass moves. Not just Solarbeam either.

Another thing that annoys me:

Onix's attack stat. He's a fucking giant rock snake, and he has a lower attack stat than Joltik. That is embarassing. He's so hard to use, even just in game. Competitively he's useless.

Stop complaining about PP and comparing moves that do similar damage. It's pretty obvious that each move works in it's own, respective way - hence them being different moves. It's not like they can summon limitless rocks or anything. Same goes for accuracy complaints, use your head.

Moves can't be counterparts because TYPES aren't counterparts. The reason why Rock Blast has such low BP is because Rock is such a good attacking type.

It makes sense that powerful moves should have less PP and accuracy, otherwise every moveset would consist of Thunder, Blizzard, Fire Blast and Hurricane.

It makes no sense that lower damage moves with no secondary effects (LIKE ROCK SLIDE) should have shit PP and accuracy.

Hitting multiple Pokemon in double/triple battles doesn't count, as it's power becomes reduced in that case.

Obviously moves like rockslide have to have low PP, it's an insanely strenuous move to actually do. The games aren't designed around stupid competitive play, they're based in a world where these physics have to work.

It's the same bullshit with Vine Whip, it gets 5% less base power than it's counterparts, and only had 10 PP until Gen IV.

35 base power, no secondary effect, 15 less PP than the likes of Ember. How do you explain that?

Does Earthquake bypass damage reduction? Or did it do that in Gen 3? I was replaying Colosseum and had Quagsire with almost equal Attack and Sp. Attack (Modest). Earthquake did a lot more damage than Surf even though Earthquake should only do a bit more damage because of stats and 5 increase in BP and even then EQ was split to three targets while Surf was split between two targets.

Maybe, but it still seemed ridiculous to one shot pokemon with a Quagsire using Earthquake, while Surf doesn't even drop them halfway even though the enemy's pokemon should have had around the same defensive stats.

They can learn fucking electric moves and fire moves too. Starmie and Gyarados can learn thunderbolt and Slowbro and Octillery can learn flamethrower. Meanwhile, fire types are almost always restricted to just fire moves and solarbeam. The amount of preference water types get is ridiculous.
