Even after the fairy type reveal the 2 mascot legendaries are STILL listed as ???? type.

When Game Freak know that which version of the game people buy or reserve depends on what type the version exclusive ledgendary will be in that game it makes little sense for them, certainly no financial sense, for them to still be holding back on this when it is so close to the games release date. You could understand why they might do this if one of the mascot's types was fairy as that wasn't revealed until E3, but if it was then they'd have included that in the big E3/June reveal.

Also with the fairy type now revealed, what news could possibly top that to create a buzz for the last reveal before the game is released? Starter evos? I don't think so.

The reveal of a further 2 new types (one for each mascot) would be a real shock though and create real excitement and lots of talk on social media sites, just what Game Freak want when they'll be sending press releases left right and centre for the 12th of October.

Maybe with 3 new types they might also be the second types that the starters gain in their final evos.

So, likely or not? What types might they be?
