So I just beat Blue. Here's my team:

Beedrill, and Hypno are the only issue as far as actual members go. Scyther and Pinsir would have been better bugs to use, if you needed a poison type Gengar, or Weezing would have worked well. Hypno? Just felt like braking the mold and not using Abra right? I wouldn't have went with two normal types but whatever.

All seem pretty good. Blitzkrieg is my fav. At least you didn't go for the generic "ShelShock".

Keeping withdraw on Blastoise is a little odd, bide on Beedrill was strange too. Other than that you did fine.

Have you ever used Beedrill in Red and Blue? It's fantastic, because it gets STAB from Pin Missle and its signature move Twineedle and fucking everything in the game is Poison type, and Bug is super on Poison in gen I. The only thing besides Beedrill than learns Pin Missile was Jolteon, and the only other Bug move besides those two was Leech Life that does fuck all damage. And Pinsir and Scyther don't get any Bug moves until gen II, not that OP could have got Scyther anyway (Blue).

Bide is good for Beedrill. I know they don't have great SpAtk, but for coverage, I recommend

Bide
Pin Missile
Mega Drain (need it for Geodude and stuff)
Twineedle

Poison types are a bit crap offensively in gen I one anyway, all you have is Sludge.

As for Hypno, it might be slower, but it's more bulky than Alakazam.

Or, maybe OP wants a challenge.
