Someone has to make an app called pokedex or something.
It gives you a selection of starter pokemon to choose from, then you're on your way. all it does is send you a push notification every once in a while signifying a pokemon in your proximity. open the app, then it sort of does a metal detector/hotter colder thing you have to follow for maybe less than a minute.
battling/catching pokemon would work as it would in the game. getting balls/tms/potions and such would work like most apps like purchasing points or earning them by inviting friends or something.
rarer pokemon can only be found in less populated places or certian types of biospheres.
battle your friends, and a league held every year. a bit far-fetched (heh) but even hire gym leaders and have badges and shit. omg.
