I just got one in a ME run and it's hard as balls to train because I'm still early on. The thing doesn't even learn an attacking move that isn't tackle until 17

Many third gen pokémon grow slowly. All the Pokémon in the Fluctuating experience group (except Drifloon and Drifliblim) are from third gen.

I love Larvesta, it's my second favorite pokémon and one of the cutest ever, but if training it is ridiculously frustrating.

Gotta TM and move tutor your way and it's still gonna be annoying as fuck.
