Hey, /vp/, I'm trying to play a random run of White 2 but while the rom generally works fine after randomized, if I try to interact with my starter pokémon in any way besides in battle (see it's stats, give it an item, just open the pokémon stats screen and try to close it) the game freezes.

I tried it a bunch of times, with both totally random starters and with a fixed set of starters that aren't the original and different settings for the rest. Nothing fixes this, and there are no other problems.

I know the rom is not the problem because it's the rom I've been using to play Volt White 2 as well (the clean version I used to apply the Volt White patch).

Is this a known issue? Is there any way to fix it or something?
I really want to play it, so thanks for any kind of help.
