Dragonite flies around and is a sort of benevolent protector, Hydreigon is a sadistic motherfucker and attacks everything, Salamence is the final form of something that spends it's whole life trying to fly etc.

Not going to weigh into the fighting type thing but yeah Haxorus should've been the one to get moxie instead of salamence

Moxie fits a species that constantly battle eachother and compare axe tusks to prove who's the strongest more than it fits a pokemon who's line revolves around learning to fly
