I'd hate to admit it, and saying this as an offbreed of a sinnohfetus and hoennbabby, but I agree that if they rerereleased another set of Kanto games all the hardcore genwonners and nostalgiafags would most likely purchase a 3ds or xl.

Actually Buddyroid form has both stag and rhino beetle horns. That's where Jin's helmet piece comes from!

I understand that but there is no Pokemon who is a cross between kabuto and stag beetles.
The kabuto horn is more prominent than the stag horns in buddyroid form, so heracross is the most appropriate choice.

I dunno about you, but when the GBA came out it was all over the place. It may not have sold a lot relative to their other handhelds, but it was still an enormous success and Pokemon was a major part of that.

I didn't say it wasn't a success or that Pokemon didn't contribute to it, I only said that it wasn't anywhere near as popular as the GB or DS.

If X/Y sells well for 3DS, maybe they'll put some time into putting them out there on the Virtual Console... The problem is, what's the point of playing pokemon if you can't battle or trade with your friends? They'd have to re-build all of the link trade features in all three generations of the games, and that's a lot of effort.

It's not a very practical thing for a number of reasons. The first being that there's no point in transferring data to current games.
