Does anybody have that "collect trade battle" pyramid from E3?

And while on the subject, what did you think about all the reveals at E3? the information smorgasbord that we got on the second day and after, and what more do you think is coming after this?

Any more surprises up gamefreak's sleeves or are we just going to get new pokemon reveals from here to launch?

Both of the mascot legendarys STILL have ???? listed as their type, implying that there will be at least 1 or possibly 2 new types yet to come (if they were fairy type it would have been revealed at E3).

As the Unova and Kalos maps fit together seamlessly and there is no obvious base for the elite 4 in Kalos it is a resonable assumption that the 2 regions will link in the same way Kanto and Johto did. There are several other parallels between Gen I and Gen V (eg only being able to catch from a pool of 151 'new' pokemon) and gen II and gen VI (eg introduction of new types) as well.

I hope there is, Yveltal looks awesome but dark and flying would just make him 'meh' especially if Xerneos turns out to be grass fairy. Alright, he would probably rape Xerneos to death with that typing but how often would they face off other than when you're trying to catch it not kill it?

If they do add more than one type, what would that do to the game? One type enough is enough to shake up things majorly, upsetting mechanics like hidden power, new type chart, ect.

what would happen to the game if they added 2 or 3 new types?

They added 2 types in Gen II remember? It didn't mess up the game at all, because Game Freak integrated the new types well as I'm sure they will this gen.

It's no different to adding 1 type though, you just put an extra row and column for each new type ans add in a few more dots and crosses for what's super effective has, not very effective, no effect etc.

Game Freak are programming an entirely new game, making all the artwork to go with it and translating as they go, do you think that they'd say "what add TWO column and rows to a chart? Well I think that's just too much work we'll stick with one new column, no cosmic type this gen!".

It changes no more than adding 1 type if you add 2 or 3 types all it is is that there are a few new weaknesses and super effects added to existing types, there is no need to change any that already exist.

It doesn't have anything that says "grass" thematically. Not saying that's empirical evidence, after all jirachi is steel type and there's nothing all that "Steel" about its design but for the majority of pokemon it works.
