>>12804816I think Gen II had the best spritework and RS the worst (FRLGE looks nicer though).
I hate the intro of BW the ending credits. The music is good, everything else is bad.
N could be a nice character but was handled very wrong.
The plot of BW is still the same as other games and the story is NOT decent, whoever believes that has never read a book or played other games. The dialogues are forced and tedious, the "character development" is minimal, and it barely explores the "moral issues" of Pokémon even though it takes pride on it, it is a stupid concept anyways and Sinnoh did it better. Also the game was just a bunch of wasted potential, as GenVI shows BW was just new pokémon and better speed/graphics.
Gen 3 had the worst good-to-bad-ratio of pokémon designs. Hariyama is an eyesore, no matter how good it fights.
I absolutely love the Kanto and Johto remakes except for the music, I prefer the original tunes.
Platinum is overall the best, most complete game and has the best music.
That said, I hate the concept of divine legendaries for now everything can be justified with "because Arceus wants it like that" or "it's magic".
I'm a biology nut so I find Purugly cuter than Glameow because it has better anatomy and things like Magnezone, Rhyperior, Cofagrious or Garbodor make me butthurt.
At first glance I thought Vanilluxe was part Ghost which justified it floating and looking silly. It's a damn shame it isn't.
Newtwo's new form looks bad.
Hoenn is the best region.
Gen 4 starters are all around the best, followed by 1, 3, 5, and finally 2, though Feraligatr is the best water starter ever.
After GS the male protagonist designs kept getting worse.
The original anime and first two openings were the better.
Fairy type isn't something to be mad about, the fact that there was a shitstorm over it baffles me.
