Fuck you, gamefreak! I understand the dragon nerf in gen 2 by intodrucing fairy, but this shit?! Two new types?! Fow fucking dumb is that? It's gen 6, phyics are blanced by bug and ghost! We don't need dark! And making steel resist dragon? Wasn't fairy enough?!

So done with pokemon.
ITT: we act like fairy was introduced in gen 2 and Dark and Steel were just announced for gen 6.

I'm just glad they're finally giving Skarmory a little more love. It never really felt like a Normal type to me anyway. Though I doubt a simple type change is going to be enough to salvage it in the higher tiers.

I certainly don't believe the rumor that Steel is going to resist practically every type. Game Freak may have made some bizarre gameplay decisions in the past (like the way they kicked Dragonite and Kingdra in the balls during Gen II), but even they have their limits.

My dad works at Gamefreak, and steel is immune to poison. Both the type and status. It has twelve resistances and is weak to fighting, ground and fire.

you give robots a virus, durr. but seriously, i dunno, everyone knows the types dont make sense. why is dragon only good against dragon? why is ice not still neutral with fire? Sure, fire melts ice, but as the ice melts, it turns into water which puts out the fire, so it seems neutral to me. bugs are resisted by fighting, makes sense, a tough guy can handle a bug, but then bugs resist fighting types back, how does THAT work?

this game ain't got logic son. also, what robot pokemon? all we have is golurk. I wonder if they'll make him ghost/steel? That'd be kinda cool. But then again, he'd resist just about everything except ground and fire.

Part steel. Has to do with molten transient metal.

Heatran will as of gen VI have 5 double resistances (ice, steel, bug, grass, fairy) and two immunities (poison, fire because of flashfire) all for only three resistances.

The ghost dark combo had no weaknesses and 4 immunities (normal, fighting, psychic, fairy)
