Did you use one on any of your in-game teams, how'd it do, could it hold its own or was it just a Fly slave in FR/LG/HG/SS.

Let's make it a Pidgeot art thread while we're at it.

Too frail for it's lack of speed/power. It needs some kind of "specialty". Doesn't really have any stand-out stats.

It's average at best, which is a shame.

I really like Pidgeot. Back then, when Crystal came out, I had beaten the game with a team of Typhlosion and Pidgeot.
Honestly, I don't even know how I got through Lance with those two. They must have been over-leveled or something.

Pidgeot is easily my favorite regional bird. It may not have awesome moves like Staraptor, but I still like it. It became a true bro in my Fire Red Nuzlocke, being with me since the beginning until the end (alongside my starter Blastoise). So yeah, Pidgeot is definitely a really good Pokemon, at least in-game.

I really love Pidgeot but it just sucks so much. It's not just the relatively mediocre stats, its the fact he learns nothing but Flying and Normal moves through Level Up and even then the good ones are all Special despite his Physical Attack being his better stat.

I've always thought it would be good if Pidgeot had his stats reshuffled to focus on Special Attack and Speed a little more, making him the only Special-focused regional bird and therefore allowing him to be a great Hurricane users. I've also thought that Serene Grace should have been his DW Ability, since as a Special Attacker he could actually use it with Hurricane, Air Slash, and Heat Wave.
