I have yet to know what they're going to be doing with Dawn, but don't listen to the western fanbase as most hate or dislike her with a passion. And the moment you bring up Dawn possibly returning, you'd be shot down by them screaming about their headcanons, patterns and shit. Even though the writing of the series and the Japanese promotions are steering in that possible direction of Dawn returning, so it's not definite.
