if they are this strict though that's pretty funny. competitive pokemon will never grow outside of simulators as a result

With the way the breeding system is set up to pass down IVs/Natures it's far from impossible, it's not even difficult, it's just extremely extremely tedious. Banning cheated pokemon just means that either you spend days/weeks breeding your pokemon, abuse the RNG while breeding, or battle on an uneven playing field.

If they decide to do this I'd want pokemon to make it less tedious to breed perfect pokemon in X/Y, because an uneven playing field is something you want to try your hardest to stay away from in a competitive setting, RNG abuse is borderline cheating as it is, and I personally don't think a competitive team should be earned through days of walking back and forth breeding and hatching hoping for RNG to reward your time spent doing practically nothing.

There is no way to tell a well trained pokemon from a hacked pokemon unless the hacker does something that isn't legit (wondertomb, etc).
They might SUSPECT your near perfect/perfect EVs and IVs are hacked, but they can't prove anything unless you're stupid. And they aren't going to toss bans because your totally legit pokemon MIGHT have been hacked.

So at the end of the day, all this means is your wondertombs and no-guard-ninjasks will get you banned. Same goes for surfing Voclarona, even if you traded for it and never knew Volclarona didn't normally have surf. But your otherwise legit RNGed/Hacked pokemon will be fine. Because there is no way they're banning people on suspicion of hacking without proof. And there is no proof unless you hacked it wrong (giving you an unfair advantage and thusly, getting a ban).

Welp, I really doubt anyone on this board is a tournament-caliber player, so what does it matter? But, Ray Rizzo has admitted to using RNG abuse to make his pokemon, as do all the tournament players, and while it isn't 'hacking' it has the same result. They should just allow 'hacked' pokemon to save everyone time.

The issue of not-realizing/using a traded hacked Pokemon is harsh-

But no, it's not harsh in general. If someone hacks they should be banned. I'm glad they're starting to hopefully crack down especially in official tourneys where monetary/material gains are at stake.

When someone who has used Pokesav/RNG methods to obtain 'legitimate' perfect Pokemon and uses them in an official setting it puts honest players at a disadvantage.
I don't care what people do casually, I even have one or two Pokemon I know that are RNG'd on my carts- however, I would never use them in tourneys whatsoever.

There are enough breeding circles around to gain high-IV breeding leftovers from. It doesn't take ages to EV train these days either. Gamefreak has implemented so many features recently to aid in breeding attempts without making the system as easy as Pokesav-ing.
Put some effort in if you're attempting to win a prize. Taking advantage of honest players in an official setting is wrong in my book at least.

It's just there are over 300 fully evolved non-legendary pokemon and their number only increases.

GF should try balancing all those pokemon before they add all these systems of IV and EV which only complicate an already broken game in some regards.

Just because something is legal doesn't mean its legitimate. RNG puts players who do not manipulate the random number generator at a disadvantage.

If you don't agree with me, that's fine- but its an unbalanced system as is. Either educate the players in game about RNG manipulation or don't allow it. As I said, I don't mind how people play as long as monetary/material gain is not involved. And yes, it is involved in official tourneys.

What Gamefreak needs to do is add a bunch of extreme hack checks into the games. impossible met locations, impossible balls captured in, unlearnable/unreleased moves/abilities/pokemon, every tiny detail that can be checked like on pokecheck. is added to the game. all Pokemon that fail the check will be flagged and be unable to be used in battles (ingame or wifi) and be untradeable but can be released if wanted FUCK YOU BADEGG this hack checking program can be updated over time to fix any false detections bugs or to add in special events and new versions and stuff. Pokemon that where flagged from a false detection would then be unflagged with the updated version.

The way legit breeding is now, it requieres you many many days and weeks to get an almost perfect team statwise. And i dont know about you but i do not use one team for a very long time..

Maybe this Pokemon-amie thing will make IV increases possible. Having 3 stats at 31 is not hard and the rest is gained with stroking your pokemon to perfection.

The water one has a good variety of moves. It learns razor shell pretty early and can learn stuff like x-scizor, aerial ace and of course the ice type moves.
You can get a fighting type fairly early with riolu, so tepig is not the superior choice here imo.
