Nice concept, but not really liking the execution. If you kept Yamask's body a lot closer to what it already looks like and mostly just changed where the mask goes and give it "legs", it'd be better than the original to me.

Main problem I have with your design is you moves the extra blob from the bottom of the eye to the top of it. The original design is made to look like it has a tear in the corner of it's eye, your redesign just makes the eye look strange.
