I don't think this would have made a great show, at least as a current anime replacement. I know for a fact that it wouldn't be able to live up to the hype it would get each week. I feel like it would be an extremely "dark" and "edgy" generic shounen that would quickly devolve into Bleach levels of retardedness very quickly. I'm not saying it would be BAD, I'm just saying it too would get old after a while.
