The first pokemon game that I finished was Ruby. I got it from a friend of mine in 2008. I got Yellow when it came out but my gameboy broke and I never bothered to buy another one.

Not one of my starters were ever given A HM.
And I only once gave any of my main party a HM and that was my Mule Zigzagoon/Linoone. And by the time I was finished all four attack slots were HMs and it was on level 81 when i got to the elite 4 in Sapphire.
Otherwise I would use it then deposit out.

Switch Nidoking with Haunter, and you got my team.

Otherwise, the Vileplume was there because is was level 100. I just put an exp share on my Pokemon and beat the Elite Four many times with Petal Dance.

Think I finally started over when I had the 100 Vileplume, a 90 Mewtwo, 70-80 Starters, and a 65 Pikachu.
