I've seen people give this reason many times as a reason that real world logic cannot be applied to Pokemon. I was under the impression that the fact that Pokemon IS childish does not work in it's favor, so many have chosen to see it differently. It certainly doesn't reflect well on you when you want to believe in eggs that come out of nowhere. Evidently, this is the prevailing belief on this board, though, even though I know that being childish has been an argument here, too. I know that there are a few places where things not of the main game canon are discussed, but that makes the matter even more confusing. Can you still be a fan and none of the canon matters to you?
