I beated all of the elite foure in pokemon emerald with only sceptile at level 67 and it never got knocked out.

I went through Rock Tunnel in gen 1 without Flash, on multiple playthroughs.

When I finally tried doing it with Flash, I got lost.

When I was a kid playing Blue, I was a spaz and didn't listen or try to figure out game mechanics.
As such, I never figured out how to use items, and I always turned off my game if I lost a battle because I thought that meant you lose your Pokemon.
I just grinded like crazy to beat everyone

I figured it out by G/S, but at that point I was so ingrained to do it this way, I made sure to kill the E4 with only one Pokemon.

And I face rolled Sapphire's E4 and Champ with a 58 Kyogre. Just needed to use a max elixir when I was out of Hydro Pump PP.
