Get yourself a Crobat, OP. Maybe a Ponyta once you get to Snowpoint if you didn't go with Chimchar. Budew would be great as well, in Eterna Forest

Slap a Roserade there. Or if you're feeling daring, put an Abomasnow

Get a Drapion too. ake sure it has sniper.

Choose between Floatzel and Gastrodon. I like Floatzel more, but Gastrodon has dat bulk

Get a Staraptor too. Staraptor > Crobat

I started with Piplup. Definitely getting a Drapion because I always thought it was cool but never was assed to get it. Probably siding with Gastrodon because it's so stupid.

Well, if you have Empoleon there's not really a reason to use Gastrodon.

But you can use based Garchomp.

I don't remember if Rotom is post-game or not, but you should give it a go too. It's not very strong, but it's fun

I used a Drapion in my first Pearl playthrough. Skourpi is a PAIN to level (weak moves, slow exp gain, high evolution level) but Drapion is glorious if you put in the effort
