Miranda first met Ash when facing Team Rocket in a Battle for the best. Just about when her Dialga was going to win, Ash walked in with his Pikachu and ruined everything. Miranda was not upset by this because she thought Ash was just coming in to battle with Team Rocket and didn't know someone was in there. Ash realized she was a Great battler and let her join him on his journey. She found this an opportunity to flirt with Ash and steal his heart. However when she was about to flirt for what seemed like the 5012093 time, Zoey asked her if she would stop. Miranda was mad and gave her a what she called 'looks can kill' look. Zoey looked at her frightened and the said "Never Mind"!
Miranda is good friends with Misty and Dawn. Miranda first met Dawn when Miranda heard a scream and saw Dawn hanging from a Cliff. Her Pokemon were trying to save her but wasn't succeding. Miranda ordered her Pokemon to help too. Then she helped pull up Dawn then realized she wasn't falling off. It was team rocket pulling her down. Miranda first met Misty when she was relaxing in the forest. Her Cleffa jumped on her stomach trying to tell her someone was coming. Miranda couldn't understand her Cleffa so she just kept relaxing then Misty leaned over her and said "Miss are you alright"? Miranda, startled by the sudden voice jumped out of her daze and hit her head by the back of the tree.
