The early screening of the 16th movie just happened, we will soon know whether the Mewtwo in the movie is the same as the one from the first or not

It's been a while since I've seen a Pokémon movie, but do they ever randomly try to shoehorn the Pokémon's type into the dialogue? Like, why would it even come up?

The first point was a legitimate question and not in any way meant to be rude or snarky. Maybe if you learned some reading comprehension you wouldn't get buttflustered by honest questions. The second was a far point, though. It's stupid to assume the movie will reveal Mewtwo's method of form change in the games when the other movies didn't.

Not that anon. But, I remmember Gracidea flowers were explained on the shaymin movie.
Though on the Deoxys one, I think they just transformed without help.
I haven't seen Keldeo or the Zekrom/Kyurem movies.

Yeah, it changed if it was on a different region (Kanto/Hoenn) or version of the game. And on later games with meteorites.

I remember the ones on the movie just changing while on the same city and without any items.
