So what would people want to see from a new original pokemon anime/protagonist? Would you want to see it set in whatever the newest region at the time would be, or go back and start over from Kanto or a new exclusive region or what?
I really don't care about the region myself, but I wouldn't mind going back to an old one at all, or an exclusive one. I just want to see a protagonist who'll evolve pokemon, not be memory wiped of all skill every season. I was so stoked when Ash started rotating pokemon, and that'd be something to keep too. Train a bunch, see which you like the most, and then we as the audience get to see the excitement of the big guns, and the smaller guys training up. Let a league actually get won for once and a while against legitimate challenges. Have even stronger opponents actually win, because you won't win all the time, and there'll always be someone better than you, even when you're the champion. Just make the anime more like how a pokemon adventure would be, not just the cheap show meant to sell cards and games to children that it is now. There's so much untapped potential.
