Trick room also slays your momentum and causes you anal damage if you are unprepared. The most common teams in VGC are trick teams

I used a Darmanitan once because of everyone saying how great it was and wasn't impressed at all. It just felt like a regular Fire type. And besides Emboar is great in-game and its Fighting type comes in handy a lot of occasions.

Haha nope. Infernape outclassed him HARD in Gen 4. He was decent in Gen 3 because o the less intense power creep, but he was never an amazing Pokémon until Speed Boost

Infernape should really be UU, but I suspect it will be outclassed by darmanitan and walled by chandelure
