In the NA version, your rival's name is Blue, as used in HG/SS while the boy character is Red in HG/SS

if you want to keep up that pattern, the the logical name for the girl would be Green

the thing that's confusing is that the Japanese version has Blue and Green switched to where the girl is Blue and the rival is Green

go with whichever you want
