If it's like what they did for B/W2, they'll have an event set up a few blocks from ComicCon (which X/Y releases during, like B/W2 did) with giveaways and stuff.

It wasn't part of ComicCon. It was maybe two blocks away. No ticket needed. And you could buy B/W2 at the Nintendo store, which they were running shuttle busses to from the event.

Again, who knows if they'll be doing it the same way this time. This is just how they did it last time.

Idk if you heard but theres a place in Manhattan called Nintendo World Store and they release a game a day early there. They did it with Animal Crossing. I'm sure they'll do it for X/Y
