You don't need to prepare for much up until the end
That's when you're going to want to bring all of your accumulated, unused Reviver Seeds (assuming you have any) and take them to the last level called Sky Tower
You will regret not having them for that
Although that's a strange choice OP, what exactly was it you were looking for when you picked this up? Or did you just buy it on a whim/bought it because it was on sale?

I picked up Blue Rescue Team years ago but never got into it. The GBA version will be easier to get into for me at least because I can play it in broad daylight or have better portability. My problem with games is that I to comprehend every facet before I get too far in so I'm trying to just say screw it and dive in.

Seriously, attract locks down any Pokemon at all in this game for several turns, including legendaries. Makes the boss fights almost trivial - I sure hope you have it before you fight Articuno as he hits like a freight train.

Oh, and for the sake of causing a mild shitstorm, I'll say 3 words

I have a DS, but see no reason to buy a game I have no idea the mechanics of or if I'll like the premise. I've purchased every main series game, so this is basically just like watching a trailer, except with actually game play
