Alright, /vp/ I need to get a 3ds to play Y and I need to know where to get it for cheap. Is the XL worth it? I have an original ds and the screen is a bit small for me. Is the regular 3ds screen comparable to this?

the cheapest place (and most reliable online) would probably be from the nintendo online store. they sell the regular refurbished 3ds for 129 USD.
the screen of the regular is slightly wider than the normal ds, but if it really is a bother to you, just get the XL.

I love the XL over the original because
bigger screen, better battery life, better resolution, actually fits in my hands I have fucking meat hooks for hands so if you have babby hands this doesn't apply, doesn't feel flimsy like the original does, and the material on it doesn't attract fingerprints everywhere like the original.

the only con of the XL that i can think of is that the speakers a little less powerful.

It depends. If you're only getting it for Y then get a regular 3DS, it isn't worth the extra money. If you are eventually going to buy other games than get the XL.
