I don't get it

Choice band is the same as a +1 boost, and moxie gives only one boost at a time

It's just getting a head start, seems inferior to having 1 attack and 1 speed from a scarf

Choice Band = x1.5
For each Pokemon KO'd, Moxie grants you +1 up to +6

After 1 Pokemon KO'd, you get x1.5x1.5. After 2 KO'd, it's x2x1.5 and so on. All of the bonuses stack.

Take salamence full attack investment is 400 attack points. At +2 you have 800 attack. With a band at +1 however you have 900 attack.
